But, for real estate investors and professionals, the "Trump Bump" that occurred after the election was arguably the more impactful event. Over the two weeks following November 8, the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage increased 50 basis points to a rate of just over 4 percent. Not since the summer of 2015 had we seen the mortgage rate above that level for any meaningful amount of time. |
